Throughout the course of human history, countless disasters have struck this world and they have claimed the lives of thousands of people. We cannot prevent these disasters from happening, no matter how hard we try. Tsunami 2004
Back in 2004, a devastating Tsunami hit the Southeast Asian region and claimed the lives of nearly 200,000 people. It caused billions of dollars in damage and wrecked the homes of thousands of people. Among the people who died was this 31-year-old girl, Deborah Garlick, who was vacationing in Thailand. Her parents were able to retrieve this picture from her belongings.
