This is something that has bothered many members of the audience for far too long. That scene when the Fairy Godmother magically transforms Cinderella into her stunning outfit right on time for the ball, is just epic.
But we all know what happens at the stroke of midnight. Her outfit and carriage all revert back. Or do they?
Almost everything does change back to its original state – but the glass slippers remain. That’s of course because they serve a purpose for the plot, as the slippers are needed for the Prince and Cinderella to eventually be reunited. But that doesn’t change the fact that it makes zero sense.
