Archie Moore
“The Old Mongoose” had one of the longest spanning careers in the history of boxing and is considered by most to be the greatest light heavyweight in history. During his long career, he defeated several greats, including Joey Maxim, who beat Sugar Ray Robinson, Jimmy Bivins and Lloyd Marshall.
While he was dominant at light heavyweight, he was less successful at heavyweight, challenging and losing to fighters like Ezzard Charles and Rocky Marciano.
