Free Dive

via

Free diving is when you dive underwater on a single breath. There is no extra oxygen and it is very dangerous. Nicholas Mevoli was a free-diver (as well as a TV and film prop technician), and this picture was taken after he dove 236 ft deep.

After having completed the dive, which lasted 3 minutes and 38 seconds, he surfaced and gave the OK signal, and then passed out. Safety divers tried to resuscitate him for 90 minutes, but eventually he passed from Pulmonary Edema.
