Humboldt Broncos
Canadian junior Hockey team – The Humboldt Broncos – were on their way to a game in Saskatchewan, when their bus got hit by a semi-trailer truck. The truck driver apparently failed to stop at a flashing stop sign, and hit the bus at approximately 62 miles an hour. The crash killed sixteen people, and injured thirteen. 14 of the players and coaches in this picture were among the people whose lives ended in this accident.
