Testing A New Aircraft
It was in the 1940s when these people took part in the demonstration of a brand new aircraft. One of these people was William Becker, who was the mayor of St. Louis at that time. This picture was taken right before the plane took off. Unfortunately, immediately after take-off, the plane’s right wing broke and it crashed, sadly killing all ten passengers who were on board.
