This tip didn’t come from a burglar themselves but rather someone who came home one day to find out their apartment had been burglarized. They shared one of the biggest lessons they learned that day. When they spoke to the police about the incident, they were told that the burglar had worked quickly. As such, they had primarily checked the usual spots. That’s when the police told the victim of the crime that, in the future, it’s better to avoid keeping valuables in the nightstand.
