Having a spare key to your house is important and sometimes even necessary. Everyone forgets or loses a key from time to time and can’t always afford to call a locksmith. Yet, too many people put those keys in obvious places that make them easy for a burglar to find. Some of the most common spots for spare keys include on top of the door frame, under a potted plant, or under a doormat, making them easy to find.
