Many of us are familiar with shows like “Funniest Home Videos,” where we can watch videos of everyday life that can make us laugh a lot. But what if we replace a regular camera with a drone? In that case, we get shots that we wouldn’t normally see and amazing moments that only happen because of flying machines. Drones are becoming more and more popular, and their uses are endless. Here are some shots that were captured that should have never been seen.
This young lady was happily having a sunbathe on the roof when a sneaky drone caught her up there. She wasn’t very happy about it and managed to quickly put some clothes on. However, things didn’t end as planned. The outcome of this story will follow at the end of this article.
Caught kissing
This couple thought they had scored this super-private spot to have their mushy moment. But guess what? Someone was there flying their drone and totally caught them on camera! They were in the middle of a kiss and everything. Now, I’m thinking, could they hit up the drone operator for that video and maybe even play it at their wedding? How hilarious would that be!
Stone throwing
This lady had zero clue that her landlord was sending a drone to film the place. She straight up thought it was some weirdo trying to peek through her windows. And let me tell you, she didn’t waste a second. She bolted outside and chucked a stone at that drone like a boss. Missed the mark, though. But you know what? The drone pilot got the hint and decided to give it another shot some other time, with a heads-up this time. Smart move!
Bigfoot?
This drone dude and the whole internet are going wild, thinking they finally captured Bigfoot on camera. Look at that pic up there – you see that shadowy figure between the trees? Now, I am not saying it’s definitely Bigfoot, but it’s giving off some major spook vibes. They dug into it later, but it turns out there’s no juicy scoop. Bummer!
Bad loser
This golfer was totally thrown off by the drone’s buzzing sound behind her. And let me tell you, her game took a nosedive because of it. So, what did she do? She let out her frustration on that drone and smacked it right out of the sky with her golf club. And after that, she just strolls away onto the next hole like a boss. Who knows, maybe practicing on a bigger target than a golf ball will do wonders for her game!
Missing woman
A police drone scored big by tracking down a grandma who had gone AWOL. They found her chillin’ in a field not too far from her place. The thing is, this poor lady was dealing with memory problems and got totally lost. Major props to the cops for spotting her and reuniting her with her family. That’s a win!
Trying to escape
When the cops showed up at the front door, this crook thought he was being slick by sneaking out the back. But guess what? The police had a drone cam locked onto his window, and he was clueless about it. The cops tracked his every step and captured him in a flash. So, word of advice: if you’re planning an exit strategy out the back, you better check for cameras first. You might just end up caught on tape!
Shark
There’s this drone doing its thing, shooting some fancy promo video for a vacation spot. And guess what the operator spots? Something dark cruising in the water. After checking it out, bam, it’s a shark! And get this, it’s like super near to the closest swimmer, which is quite gnarly, right? The good news is, the shark wasn’t into a human snack and just swam away.
Bird attack
There’s this bird, right? It’s all worked up because it thinks another bird is invading its turf. The thing is, our feathered friend has no clue it’s just a flying camera. And guess what? The bird goes all attack mode on the drone, and the poor thing can’t do anything to fight back. Long story short, the drone crashes and burns, and it’s toast. Lesson learned: don’t mess with a bird’s turf, man.
Oof… Caught on camera!
You won’t believe this: this husband, who’s also a drone whiz, wasn’t buying it when his wife said she was just off to grab some groceries. So, he gets his drone game on and starts tailing her. Surprise, surprise! It turns out she’s meeting someone else, and you can see that dude rolling up in the black car in the pic. Bummer, right? The video went bonkers online, and get this, he somehow managed to forgive her down the road because they’re back together now. Crazy, huh?
Monkey selfie
A drone was filming the zoo, and boom, it crashed right into the monkey zone. One curious monkey gets his paws on it and starts checking it out, totally clueless that he’s on camera. But you know what? This little dude’s got some serious photogenic vibes going on. Check out the video still – it’s like a monkey selfie. Way to rock it, little buddy!

When a drone busted them, These young folks were up on a roof, doing some shady betting stuff. Quick as lightning, they grabbed their gear and hightailed it out of there. Probably figured the cops were hot on their tail. Little did they know, it was just a regular drone, not the police.

Here’s another picture of a shark hanging out super close to a dude. But get this: the guy’s too busy checking out the drone above him to notice what’s right in his face. If he had a clue, he’d be high-tailing it out of there, I’m telling you. Lucky for him, just standing still was the ticket, and he didn’t grab the shark’s attention. Smart move!

These dudes were having a blast at a pool party and somehow ended up getting a motorcycle into the pool. And get this: a drone flying above caught the whole crazy thing on camera. Like, seriously, what’s the move here? How do you even get a bike out of a pool? We’ll let these guys figure it out and just make sure we never end up in their shoes. Like, ever.

Whoa! This drone footage of a natural phenomenon is insane. We’re glad this lake isn’t a swimming spot, because that would be crazy dangerous. It looks like it goes straight down to the center of the Earth. So creepy!

This drone was flying around, getting footage for the local news, when it saw the aftermath of a gas explosion in a neighborhood. The house was totally destroyed, there was nothing left but debris. The neighbors must have been in shock when they saw their house explode.
You shouldn’t be there…
There’s this lady who’s out there flying a drone, and guess what she finds? Her husband is chilling in a place he shouldn’t be. Picture this: he’s on a boat, surrounded by a bunch of barely dressed women. You can bet he’s going to have some serious explaining to do once he’s back home!
Fresh Pork
Sharks and killer whales are famous for their fierce rep, right? But hold up, there’s another creature in the game. Meet the saltwater crocodile – basically a mega-intimidator. These bad boys are the planet’s biggest reptiles, and get this, they’ve even been known to chow down on sharks. They’re no joke, growing over 20 feet long and weighing 2,500+ pounds. Are humans on the menu? You bet, with reports every year. Now, a drone snagged a pic off the coast of Baia, Papua New Guinea. It’s a saltwater croc hauling what seems to be a pig, maybe a pet with a leash. This croc’s a regular village raider, snatching up folks’ pets like it’s no big deal.
Snacking On A Shark
Sharks are fearsome ocean predators, but they also have their concerns. Even the mighty great white sharks are wary of one thing: killer whales. In 2016, drone footage captured a clear example of this power dynamic. In the waters off California, a group of killer whales encountered a sevengill shark. Swiftly, one of the orcas seized the shark, much like a dog with a bone. After a brief struggle, the shark’s lifeless body was transferred to two young orcas, which proceeded to feast.

There’s a girl chilling on a rooftop, caught in a bit of an awkward sunbathing sitch. Yeah, it’s a total privacy invasion, but this pic really drives home how drones can have their eyes on you no matter where you’re at.

Car Bomb
Captured by a hovering drone somewhere in Libya, this graphic picture captures a horrifying moment. An explosion ripped through the scene as an explosives-laden car approached a residential complex. The car maneuvered around the building and then headed for a parking zone, where multiple individuals were present.
Fatal Accident
In April 2017, a drone showed up on the scene after a massive eight-car crash on a Los Angeles freeway. The collision triggered a huge explosion that sent thick black smoke soaring skyward, visible for a mile. About 75 firefighters from different teams rushed to extinguish the flames. Sadly, one person lost their life, and ten others ended up in the hospital with minor injuries. The crash led to the closure of the highway for several hours.

Creepy Landing
This picture was captured by Isabelle Fabre’s buddy who was capturing her riding some laid-back waves on a longboard. In the shot, you can spot Isabelle catching waves with a shark chilling just a few feet away. When she clocked something sketchy approaching, Isabelle tried to change her course, but the wind wasn’t really on her side. Meanwhile, her pals on the shore freaked out, waving around to get the shark’s attention. Thankfully, Isabelle made it out alright, managing to paddle back to shore before the shark got too close.
Unexpected Attack
Back in the day, Joel Nankivell was playing with his drone in Injidu Bay, Australia. He spotted a guy chilling in a canoe, enjoying the ocean. Joel’s drone spotted trouble, though – a shark cruising toward the canoe. Joel tried to alert the guy by getting closer to the drone, but no luck. Suddenly, the guy caught a wave, realized the shark, and thankfully, the shark was all chill, just hanging out.
Tornado Damage
A drone’s footage showed the devastating aftermath of a series of tornadoes that ripped through Mayflower, Arkansas, in 2014. The debris in the image is all that remains of homes and businesses that were destroyed by the powerful storms.
Auschwitz
This drone footage shows an ordinary-looking building, but the story behind it is anything but. This is Auschwitz, a Nazi concentration camp that was closed more than 70 years ago. It was opened in 1940 and was responsible for the deaths of over 1 million people, most of them Jews. The prisoners here were subjected to horrific torture and experiments, and their suffering is a reminder of the darkest chapter in human history.
Worst Traffic Jam
A drone captured a photo of a massive traffic jam on the Beijing–Hong Kong–Macau Expressway in 2010. The traffic jam was 50 lanes wide and lasted for 12 days. The photo shows the cars lined up bumper to bumper, stretching as far as the eye can see. It is a stark reminder of the challenges of traffic congestion in China.
The Fisherman and the Hammerhead
A drone photo taken over Panama City Beach, Florida, shows a fisherman trying to reel in a hammerhead shark. People watch from a safe distance. The fisherman was successful and released the shark unharmed. The fisherman said they were not targeting hammerhead sharks, but you never know what you’ll hook when your line is out there.
The Silverdome
Once home to the Detroit Lions football team, the Silverdome is now in ruins. It was moved out of place in 2002 and purchased by investors in 2009 with the intention of turning it into a soccer stadium, but that plan never came to fruition. The Silverdome is a historical monument, having hosted a Super Bowl, NBA Finals, and a papal visit. Elvis Presley also performed a concert there.
The Giant Pink Bunny
Back in 2005, a drone initially captured sight of the rosy-hued bunny in Northern Italy’s Piedmont region. Dubbed Hase, this bunny sculpture spanned an impressive 200 feet in length and stood 20 feet tall. While the original intention was to have it remain in place until 2025, the unexpected occurred, and by 2016, the bunny had already undergone decomposition.
Paddleboarding A Great White Shark
This image was captured using a drone and snapped along the Southern California coastline. Forrest Galante and Mark Romanov were in the midst of filming a documentary exploring the intricate interplay between humans and sharks. Pictured here are Jessica and Kelly, who were conscious of the presence of a majestic great white shark accompanying them in the waters. The essence of this photograph was to convey to the global audience that sharks are far less perilous than commonly depicted.
Gulliver, the Gentle Giant
Clicked by a drone above Edinburgh, Scotland, this image features the renowned statue “Gulliver the Gentle Giant.” Crafted by Jimmy Boyle during his incarceration at Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow, the statue gained popularity among locals after its 1976 unveiling. However, due to instability and the need for a flood prevention system, the local government chose to remove it in 2011. Despite its demolition, the statue’s legacy endures in cyberspace.

Even though the name “The Kraken Hole” might sound scary, it’s important to know that it wasn’t made by nature. People built this hole on purpose in a reservoir in California. It still looks a bit spooky, though.

In 2010, a big storm named Agatha came to Guatemala City. Because of that, a scary hole appeared in the ground called a sinkhole. The hole was about 65 feet wide and around 300 feet deep. It looks very frightening, and what’s even scarier is that sinkholes happen a lot in Guatemala City.
Pegasus Airline Flight 8622
Here’s the drone picture of Pegasus Airlines Flight 8622 that flew from Trabzon city. But it didn’t land on the runway when it got to Trabzon. Instead, it slipped down a hill. Luckily, nobody got hurt, and the plane stopped before it could enter the Black Sea. The airport had to close, though, and it stayed closed until they finished looking into what happened.
Humpback Whale Jumping Out
This amazing picture was captured in Santa Barbara, California. A humpback whale leaped out of the water and nearly pulled a boat along. After the excitement settled, the crew felt really thrilled because they now had an incredible story to share. The drone’s footage also provided strong proof of their adventure.

At first glance, you might have mistaken it for a cow or moose head, but this is actually something truly astonishing. A South African photographer used a drone to capture this image of the largest bird nest ever discovered. Hundreds of social weaver birds reside inside this massive nest, recognized for their impressive nest-building abilities. This skill is why their nests can endure for up to a century.
