Abandoned prisons are hotspots for creepy vibes. The Eastern State Penitentiary was operational from 1829 to 1971 and it was the first building in America to have central heat and running water.
Even though it sounded like a pleasant place, it was a horrible prison, where prisoners were kept in solitary confinement and isolation for most of the time.
