Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is known for his plate-flipping, bomb-dropping, and hair-pulling ways on the reality series, Hell’s Kitchen. And while his character on screen is rather volatile to say the least, people who know him personally have said he isn’t much different in real life.
Tash Pericic, the former assistant manager at Ramsay’s London-based restaurant Maze, told Insider that she once overheard the chef swearing at his assistant over the phone about chairs that had been ordered for a Christmas Eve dinner.
“What the…do you call these chairs!?” Pericic said Ramsay screamed. “They’re so terrible I wouldn’t throw them on a…bonfire!”
