Mike Myers may come off as fun and goofy in films like Shrek and Austin Powers, but according to people who have worked with the actor, this isn’t at all representative of his personality in real life. His The Cat in the Hat co-star Amy Hill went so far as to say working with him was a “horrible, nightmarish experience.”
Not only did Myers demand one person be assigned to follow him around and feed him chocolates on set, but he made cast and crew wait hours for him each day, ignored everyone’s presence, and micromanaged all of the production.
Unfortunately, Hill isn’t the only coworker of Myers to shed light on such behavior. According to another insider, Myers even fired actors on Love Guru just for looking at him. Offset, he notoriously fusses over having to sign autographs.
