Richard Nixon
One of the most controversial presidents of America was Richard Nixon. Whilst his IQ of 142.9 is fairly high, he serves as further proof that being smart does not necessarily translate to a job well done in the Oval Office. Nixon attempted to assassinate a journalist intent on revealing his involvement in the infamous Watergate scandal by exposing him to copious amounts of LSD. Following an investigation on the Watergate scandal, it was discovered that the burglars were indeed connected to Nixon.
