Mary-Louise Parker is an American actress and writer. Parker has enjoyed great success as Nancy Botwin, the lead role in the television series Weeds, which ran from 2005 to 2012 and for which she received three nominations.

Mary-Louise Parker made her acting debut in 1990, and it didn’t take long for her to conquer the world of theater. She has since worked on major stage and screen productions, but she hasn’t been so lucky in her private life. For six years in the late 90s and into the 2000s, Parker was in a relationship with Billy Crudup. They were elated when they announced they were expecting a baby, but Crudup left her for Claire Danes when Mary-Louise was two months away from her due date.
