She is best known for creating the series Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal and Station 19 and is the executive producer of the series Murder. Nicknamed the Queen of Television, her success saw her start her own production company called ShondaLand.
Shonda Rhimes is a woman of many talents, and we have to thank her for bringing personalities such as Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy and How To Get Away With Murder, into our lives. Thanks to her busy lifestyle, Rhimes has struggled to find time to have a partner in her life. Instead, she focused on being the mother of her two adopted children and a daughter whom she welcomed through a surrogate. In the past, she has noted that she didn’t want to get married because she was happy with her life as it is.
