Emily Bronte
She is a British poet and novelist, sister of Charlotte Brontë and Anne Brontë. Wuthering Heights, her only novel, is considered a classic in English and world literature in general.
Like Jane Austen, Emily Bronte has also become a leading name in the world of literature. Emily and her sisters were all gifted for their writing skills, but Emily is perhaps the most famous. Because she spent so much time at home, writing new novels, and spending time with her family, Emily rarely left the house. This meant that she hadn’t met any new people, and especially that she hadn’t met any man. She ultimately remained single her entire life and passed away without ever getting married.
