Matt Dillon
Born into a family of Irish descent of six children including Kevin Dillon (also an actor), Matt had a turbulent childhood and early on acquired a reputation for “tough” that would become a constant in most of his roles. He was barely fourteen when he was spotted in the halls of his college by casting agent Vic Ramos, who became his manager.
Matt Dillon became a teen idol in the 1980s, starring in films such as My Bodyguard and Little Darlings. He went on to carve out an impressive career in Hollywood, but the same can’t be said for his love life. He was linked to Brooke Shields and Heather Graham in the 1980s, before entering a three-year relationship with Cameron Diaz from 1995 to 1998.
