Lady Tremaine Kills Her Husbands

via

At the beginning of Cinderella, we see the young girl’s father marry the widowed Lady Tremaine. Soon after that, he’s dead. Now, two dead husbands and an evil quest for power adds up to something more than just an unpleasant stepmother. What if Lady Tremaine is a black widow? Much like the spider who the term is named after, black widows kill their husbands. In the case of Lady Tremaine, she becomes richer with each passing spouse, so perhaps she does it on purpose.
