King Candy Was a Cancelled Character
According to the plot of Wreck it Ralph, character King Candy is a result of Turbo hacking the code of Sugar Rush and transforming himself into the villainous royal. However, using our knowledge of computer code, we know that the basis for King Candy must have already existed. This theory says that King Candy was initially a planned part of Sugar Rush but ended up getting canceled. This is how Turbo was able to take the character out of development and into the game.
