Dumbledore Did Not Want Newt Expelled
Newt Scamander was one of the most brilliant, if not odd, minds of his generation. While he was at Hogwarts, he was considered to be a danger to the people around him because of his fascination with magical creatures.
This led to his expulsion from the school and the only teacher who was against his expulsion was Albus Dumbledore.
