Haley Joel Osment Could Have Played Harry Potter
Steven Spielberg wanted to cast Sixth Sense star Haley Joel Osment to play the role of Harry Potter.
However, this led to a creative clash between the director and Rowling and he left the movie. Chris Columbus stepped in and conducted auditions for nearly 300 kids to play the role. The role eventually went to Dan Radcliffe.
