Ron Guessed Why Riddle Got The Award
When Ron and Harry were cleaning the awards in the trophy room, they notice that a student named Riddle received an award for special services to the school.
“Maybe he got thirty O.W.L.s or saved a teacher from the giant squid,” Ron guesses. “Maybe he murdered Myrtle; that would’ve done everyone a favor.” This was correct since Myrtle died when Riddle opened the Chamber of Secrets.
