Tarsiers

via

Tarsiers may look innocent and cute thanks to their huge eyes, but that doesn’t mean we can cuddle them to our heart’s content. These creatures are a cross between lemurs and monkeys, are nocturnal, and have a keen sense of smell. They are commonly found in the islands of Southeast Asia. Tarsiers are the only pure carnivorous species among the primates. They eat snakes, lizards, and insects. Thanks to their very long hind limbs and disk-like paddings on their digits, tarsiers are able to launch themselves from one trunk of a tree to another, traveling through the jungle with ease.
