We’re not exactly sure what’s happening here, it’s all a bit unclear, but we’ll take a whack at untangling this spider web of a mess. Either the son is married and dating someone on the side, or he’s just trying to play a gag on his mother. But there’s also an “Option C”.
Sometimes, when you get an unexpected text from an ex, your immediate go-to is to let them know that you’re taken right? So maybe this guy just saw the text message without realizing it was his mother who he was texting, claimed that he was already married, and then realized it was his mother who texted him this whole time. Again, it’s all unclear, but at least the mother seems excited!
