How Was The Statue Restored?
From 1989, when The Little Mermaid came out, and until 1999 is the decade referred to as the Disney Renaissance. During these years Disney consistently produced blockbuster hit after blockbuster hit.
The praise for these truly amazing movies remains still today. But, for eagle eyed viewers it’s easy to see that the animations did often fall a little short, by contemporary standards.
This one is glaringly obvious. An angry King Triton destroys the statue of Prince Eric, but then a moment later we see Ariel lovingly cuddling up with it. How?
