Microphone In A Speaker?
The toy soldiers in Toy Story are some hilarious dudes. Always serious in their missions and always working hard like true little soldiers. But here either they missed an important detail, or the animators did.
When they want to listen in on Andy’s birthday party, they come up with a clever plan to plant a microphone and then be able to listen from the bedroom with the other half of the monitor. But the gadget they plant is just a speaker.
So how could it pick up any sound without a microphone? The animators should have studied a little science before they decided to make the scene.
