Back In The Spotlight
The girls remained off-camera from the birth of their first child all the way until March 2017. In the meantime, the girls all became mothers a second time – this time they each had a son. Because Dr. Phil and Jay McGraw are producers on the show, they came up with quite the interesting concept to pitch to appear on the doctors.
With the growing popularity of DNA tests mapping individual people’s ancestry, they thought it would be interesting to test the reliability of such tests. They also brought on board Inside Edition journalist Lisa Guerrero to conduct the research. The triplets seemed like the perfect subjects to test such a test since they are identical and one would assume their genetic makeup would be very similar.
