It’s almost amazing that in this day and age, we now have the science right at our fingertips, which would have seemed almost magical in years past. In order to take a test, you first purchase a kit. Most companies sell DNA ancestry kits for around $100-$200. Inside the kit, the company sends a vial in which you have to provide a sample of your saliva. Yikes!
While many people have said it seems as though it seems like a lot of salivae to provide, others say it’s only in order to ensure the companies are able to get the most reliable read possible.
