She Waited For The Day
The year 2008 was the year that the state of California legalized same-sex marriages. When that happened, a lot of same-sex couples finally were able to get married and Leanna Creel was one of them. Leanna and her partner of many years, Rinat Greenberg, married on June 17, 2008.
It was great that Leanna and Rinat and many other couples were able to freely share their love and solidify it in the way that they wanted. As supportive as Creel’s family was about the marriage, there was one thing that they were concerned about.
