Daba Dubai
Daba Dubai is an old Arabic proverb that roughly translates to “They came with money”. This means that the word Dubai means “money” while there are many people who believe that the area was named Dubai for the locusts that were common here or after the Dubai Creek that is slowly creeping inwards.
