She carefully stepped over the sacks. They had writing on them, but it was worn and faded. Ally saw whirring lights extending far ahead. The basement was huge.
The secret basement extended beneath the whole house, with rows upon rows of the strange sacks. Ally knew that the only way to solve this mystery would be to open one of them.
