The End For Mark
At first, Ally could barely believe it was her husband. The man on the other end of the phone was so different from the one she knew. Her husband was confident and outgoing, but now Mark was in tears.
She could barely figure out what he was saying. She asked him to slow down, to speak clearly. And then he said three words Ally would never forget: “They got me.”
