The Former Owners
The realtor had insisted to Mark that there was no problem with the house. But, strangely, the former owners had left in a hurry. They’d left most of their belongings behind and disappeared forever.
Ally wanted to call the realtor back and ask him a simple question: why? But Mark said that Ally was worrying over nothing and they couldn’t turn down this opportunity. They at least had to go see the house. Something in Ally knew that she should never have even looked at that house in the woods, but she agreed.
