Hating His Own Teeth
All of these problems, especially the bullying, resulted in Evan starting to hate his teeth. The young boy started to have self-esteem issues because of all the bullying he faced for his teeth.
His mom had always told him that he was beautiful just the way he was and he had tried to believe that for as long as possible, but his frustrations were growing by the day and his mom started to notice this as well. She was equally as hurt as him, but she tried to make him understand how he was still beautiful despite all that the others had to say.
