They Over-Explain Where They Have Been
Earlier we mentioned that they don’t want to tell you anything about what they were doing or where they have been. In this case, it’s the exact opposite: they have a feeling of guilt and they over explain what they did in order to conceal the real reason for why they did what they did.
When they start explaining you see their eyes shift all the time and they feel uncomfortable. If you guessed that they are hiding something from you then you’ve guessed right. What is interesting is that this tactic is used by people in other life situations and not only when they are in a relationship.
So if this over-explanation is obvious to you it means that they are very bad liars. There are also some good liars out there and those are the ones that can spin a story without you knowing whether it is true or not.
