Walter Yeo’s Plastic Surgery
Walter Yeo had lost almost all of his face in the Battle of Jutland while he was manning the HMS Warspite battleship. So, he was given plastic surgery and his face was reconstructed. Since it was the first operation of its kind in the world, the result was not exactly perfect.
