Spontaneous Combustion
A woman named Mary Reeser, who lived alone, allegedly died of spontaneous combustion in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1951.
Reeser’s landlord stopped to deliver a telegram and he found a pile of ashes. Only one foot and a part of the skull remained. What’s astonishing is that there was very little fire-related damage to the home.
