British Army officer and artist, Horatio Gordon Robley, collected severed heads. Don’t worry, this gentleman in the picture had nothing to do with the severing of the heads.
This is the year 1895. He was a collector of the preserved craniums of New Zealand’s Maori people. But why he did so is beyond our imagination.
