Shamefully, wait staff doesn’t make a lot of money, especially in the USA where they have to rely on tips to bulk up their wage. According to this former Hooters employee, Hooters girls made a measly two bucks per hour. Seriously, that’s not even enough to buy a bus ticket to work. However, this former employee points out that staff members make more money when doing promotional work. This could include driving around in a golf cart, or posing for pictures with the public.
