And speaking of the Hooters girl image — the company seems to have a preference for ladies with blonde hair. Of course, society tells us that blondes have more fun, and there’s certainly more of a stereotype associated with having blonde hair. Didn’t you know that brunettes are boring killjoys? Haven’t you seen any rom-coms? This former Hooters employee didn’t get the job when she applied with dark hair, but she was hired straight away when she went blonde. We can’t say we’re surprised.
