The Live Shows – Reality
In reality, there will be entertainment during the evenings, but probably not what you expected. The live-show probably won’t be a rock concert, but a struggling artist that couldn’t get a better gig.
Hopefully, you didn’t count on the live show to be the best part of the cruise, because you’re in for a bitter surprise. Most of the time, the “professional” music show will be an amateur artist, and in some cases, it will be karaoke. Karaoke can be fun when you do it with the family or a close group of friends, but sitting and listening to a group of strangers sing their hearts out (off-key), isn’t our idea of a fun night.
Before booking a cruise ship, make sure you know what really stands behind the “live show” and entertainment nights. On the other hand, this is something you could turn around and have fun with, depending on your attitude.
