The Casino – Reality
Much like the bedrooms are much smaller than expected, due to the limited space of the ship, the same goes for the casino. The bedrooms, the dining room and the common areas take up most of the space inside the ship, and not much is left for the casino.
That’s why it’s always significantly smaller than what you might expect. The small space also means there’s no room for plenty of games, so the variety is scarce. On most cruise ships, you won’t have tables of different games and gambling options with dealers and waiters going around offering to refill your glass. At best, you’ll have a number of slot machines in a small, dark room. Now, isn’t that just disappointing?
