The Activities on Board – Reality

via

While most cruise ships indeed offer exciting onboard activities, you won’t necessarily get the chance to enjoy them. These activities cost extra money (and they could be quite expensive), and they are booked in the blink of an eye.

If you’re interested in the cruise activities, make sure you plan in advance and book them on time. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck with the second grade activities, such as watermelon carving. Making fruit animals doesn’t sound quite as exhilarating as indoor skydiving, does it?

Keep in mind that even if you book the activities ahead, you’ll still have to wait in line before you get to enjoy them, and that’s not necessarily how you want to spend your vacation.
