The Souvenirs – Expectations
Bringing back souvenirs to our friends and family when we travel abroad has become a social convention, and it’s almost considered rude not to do so. However, most of the time, these souvenirs are tacky, useless items that end up in the back of our cupboards collecting dust.
When going on a cruise, we expect to come back with a suitcase twice as full than the one we took, because we expect to find these magical local boutique shops with tasteful, unique objects, like the one shown in the photo above.
