The Crew – Expectations
We expect the crew on a fancy ship to be equally fancy, elegant and most importantly, jolly. When we think of a cruise ship crew, we don’t really pay much thought to their life on the boat when they aren’t serving us.
Their sole purpose, in our minds, is to serve the passengers, and we like to think they enjoy their job. Most of us probably think it’s a rather fun job; you get to enjoy the cruise, see the beautiful views, maybe jump in the pool every now and then and take advantage of the facilities. Plus, you get paid for it.
We also think stewards have a great job, because they get to travel around the world, but did you ever stop to consider how hard it must be?
