The Rooms – Reality
Unless you book the most expensive suite on the ship, you’re in for a surprise. According to some very disappointed cruise passengers, the rooms might be a lot smaller than you’ve expected.
Cruise ships look big on the outside, and they are, but they usually host hundreds of people, which means that naturally, not all rooms can be as big as promised.
Likewise, in most rooms, you won’t get an ocean view as promised, but the second-best thing – a photo of the ocean hanging on the wall. Perhaps this one’s on us, as our expectations are simply too high – we can’t expect a bedroom in a cruise ship, even their finest suite, to be as large and accommodating as a 5-star hotel bedroom.
