Uganda – Florence Odaru
Florence Odaru is another model who is working on making diversity more common in the beauty industry. Although black women have been underrepresented in the modeling world, Florence aims to be a role model to other dark-skinned girls growing up in Africa, encouraging them to embrace themselves and their beauty. She is also an advocate for curvy women everywhere and believes that the fashion industry should better represent people of all shapes and sizes.
