Nicaragua – Indiana Sanchez
Indiana Sanchez is one of the most popular models to come from Nicaragua. She was Miss Nicaragua in 2009 and then went on to represent her country at the Miss Universe pageant that year. Although she was a favorite and was predicted to place that year, she did not make it into the top 15. She did, however, place second in National Costume. Although she was training to be a nurse, she had to put her studies on hold to fulfill her duties as Miss Nicaragua.
