Although Japanese culture is immensely fond of its animated shows and movies, its live-action actors are also highly acclaimed. Mao Inoue is one such popular television actress who has become a household name as the star of two major drama series. She started acting when she was 5 years old and has since performed in theatre productions, appeared in print and television endorsements, and has lent her voice to a few animated characters.
