Switzerland – Tatiana Eva-Marie
An extremely talented vocalist, Tatiana Eva-Marie is the daughter of two jazz musicians, Loius Crelier and Anca Maria of Romania. Although she grew up in Paris, she moved to the US in 2004 to start a band and has been based in Brooklyn ever since. She specializes in 1930s-style swing and gypsy jazz and has been influenced heavily by her mother’s Romanian heritage, which is reflected in the music she chooses to perform. Her band has opened for famous vocalist and pianist Norah Jones.
